Description:
Cubs River Hike
With no district activities arranged we will include some Saturday activities during this term. The first will be a riverside hike.
We will meet outside Debden underground station at 10:00 and set off on a route following the River Roding downstream. Cubs will need to be picked up outside Buckhurst Hill underground station at 13:00. The route follows the river through a nature reserve, parks and playing fields.
The hike will include parts of adventure challenge and hikes badges amongst others.
If other leaders cannot attend, I will need at least 3 other adults in attendance so, please let me know if you can help.
We have to follow strict Scout Association rules:
Only cubs whose parents have replied to this invite may attend.
- Strict drop off and collection protocols to be observed
- No toilets available
- Social distancing mandatory
- No attendees with symptoms
- No sweets, snacks to be brought.
