Dear Cub Parents,
The district cub sports day is being held at Woodford County High School, Woodford Green, IG8 9LA on Sunday 12th May 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
I need to select a team to represent the 36th cubs for the following races (2 cubs per event plus 4 in the relay team and any 1 cub can compete in 2 events):
- 80m sprint (over 9.5 years)
- 60m Sprint (under 9.5 years)
- 60m skipping (over 9.5 years)
- 40m skipping (under 9.5 years)
- Egg and spoon race
- Beanbag on head race
- Sack race
- 400m
- 4 x 80m relay race
This is the first event of the district pack challenge for the next 12 months. We earn points for attending plus points for a top 3 placing. This activity also includes quite a bit of badge work for all cubs taking part.
Please let me know if your child can attend and their preferred races by Monday 5th May and I will submit our team to the district.
