Cubs Weekend Winter Camp
Thriftwood, 22nd To 24th November 2019
Dear Cub Parents
We have planned a Cub Weekend Winter Camp, 22nd to 24th November 2019, at Thriftwood Scout Campsite, Orchard Avenue, Brentwood, Essex, CM13 2DP. We will be staying in Oak Lodge, a centrally heated, purpose-built building with 6 and 4 bed dormitories, hall, large kitchen, showers and toilets.

During the weekend various activities will take place, both indoors and outdoors. We usually cover quite a lot of badge work and run outdoor activities such as zipline, 3D maze, shelter/den building and cooking. Indoors, the Cubs’ creative skills are challenged amongst other activities and games. This is a great opportunity for Cubs to experience challenging activities in a safe environment. This is an ideal nights away event for cubs attending for the first time. Our theme this year is “Lego” which was chosen by the Cubs.
