SCOUTS INTERNATIONAL JAMBOREE ON THE AIR AND ON THE INTERNET (JOTA/JOTI) 2019
Dear Cub Parents,
The Scouts are holding the International Jamboree in the Air and on the on the Internet over the weekend 19th/20th October. This is an annual event when all scouting members worldwide communicate with each other by radio or online.
As part of the event, the national scout HQ at Gilwell Park run activity days for the Saturday and Sunday. Each day includes half a day of various indoor adventurous activities such as climbing, bouldering, high ropes and archery and half a day of JOTA/JOTI activities such as internet café, amateur radio, electronic kit building and morse code. These activities cover numerous parts of cub badge work and cubs who have been before do enjoy the day out. All activities are supervised by qualified staff and volunteers.
