District Activity Day - Saturday 20th April 2024
Location: Gilwell Park Cost: £20.00 including minibus transport from All Saints church.
100’s of Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs from across the newly formed Redbridge District will come together for a day of fun and activities at Gilwell Park - the home of Scouting. St. George is the Patron Saint of Scouting and during the day we will celebrate St. George’s Day in the traditional way by renewing our Scout Promise.
We are limited to 12 Beaver places from the 36th to meet the young person supervision ratio requirements and provide leaders to help run the event.
As always any parent volunteers who could offer to help would be much appreciated.
Arrival and departure times
There will be 100s of young people attending the event so Arrivals and Departures will be staggered so that the site can cope with the expected level of traffic. We will be taking the Scout Minibus from All Saints Church between 8.30-9.30am, and ...
