Dear Cub Parents,
The cubs district swimming gala is taking place at Fullwell Cross Leisure Centre, Barkingside, on Saturday 2nd March, 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
I need up to 10 cubs to make up a team for the 36th.
The races are:
Freestyle under 9.5 years
Freestyle over 9.5 years
Breaststroke under 9.5 years
Breaststroke over 9.5 years
Backstroke under 9.5 years
Backstroke over 9.5 years
4 x 1 relay
All races are one length of the 25m pool (each relay leg is one length) and start in the water (no diving in).
Cubs can take part in up to two events if I have less than 10 in the team.
If your child is available and wants to take part, please indicate the swimming disciplines they can do by Monday 25th February and I will select a team from the names submitted.
Please note, we do need strong swimmers who must be able to swim at least 25m.
This event is part of the district pack challenge.
